Our reputation

Azure has a strong reputation for ensuring that our staff members are fully aware of Safeguarding and this training is provided throughout all staffing levels from support staff through to senior management.

Individual training

Our training department provides training across the organisation.  This is facilitated using blended learning and includes in house taught courses, mentoring, coaching, E-learning and externally sourced training for specialisms.  We are an approved centre through City and Guilds and have accreditation to deliver Health and Social Care qualifications.  We mainly deliver Diploma levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care within the Support Services Department through our team of Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers.  This is in addition to the qualifications accredited and being delivered via the Skills Builder programme.

Ongoing personal development

There is an ongoing commitment to the continuous personal development of all staff and management. The training department delivers various in house training programmes to meet these needs.

Within Support Services Department we use an effective Structured Training system, which enables support workers to teach people with learning disabilities how to do every day and complex tasks linking with Outcome Star and goal planning processes for measuring achievement. This in turn helps to promote the individual's independence.

Train the Trainer for key staff in subjects such as Working at Heights and Wheelchair awareness training enables us to cascade some important training across the organisation.  This also assists the trainers with their own personal development. 

Members of staff are mentored through their early stages of working within the company and ongoing supervision, appraisal and support is provided to all staff.
