If you’re a fast learner, open minded and resilient with bags of energy and enthusiasm, you won’t any need experience for this role.

Imagine you couldn’t apply for this job. Imagine you couldn’t make the most of your talents. Or day-to-day decisions about your own life. Or even a simple cup of tea. Now imagine you’ve been trained as a Support Worker with Azure Charitable Enterprise and that you really can make it all happen for people – and make their day, as well as yours. It might sound like a cliché, but it’s true: we change lives. We are looking for staff in the Tynedale area.

In this varied role, you might support a client to go to the shops or a show in London – or handle an emergency. You might help someone shower or even ski down a ski slope! As a Support Worker, you’ll think on your feet and get stuck in. And with experts to call on and learn from, you’ll feel confident in every situation.

Whilst everyone we work with has a learning disability or mental/physical health needs, the people we support are individuals. Some will rely on you to get through the day. For some, you’ll simply make it more fun. Building strong bonds with their families and our wider team, our Support Workers soon start feeling like one of the family. It’s a rare privilege, and an opportunity to achieve your potential – whilst helping others to reach theirs too.
