Salary: £16,649.88 p/a (rising to £16,954.08 p/a after probation)
Hours: Full time + Part time

We are looking for fun and passionate Support Workers to join our staff team based in Newcastle, Northumberland & Washington.

Our Support Worker roles are immensely rewarding and enjoyable. Every person we support is unique and is supported in their daily lives as they wish, so no two days will be the same. This may include budgeting, shopping, fun days out, as well as assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends and be active in their community.

We provide an excellent induction and a sector leading training programme as well as supporting you through your QCF in Health and Social Care. Care experience isn’t always essential but a passion for enabling people to live fun and a fulfilled lifestyle is.

As a Support Worker you will:

• Provide support, including (but not limited to) help with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry and assistance with medication.
• Be an one of the allocated drivers to drive to drive the clients own vehicle
• Support engagement of social activities and being active in their community including employment or study.
• Assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Maximise and promote each individuals independence, choice, dignity and privacy.
• Provide support in all daily living activities to suit the needs and wishes of the individuals, keeping them healthy and safe.

Training will be provided and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification within care.

An enhanced night rate of £9.01 per hour is payable for waking night shifts.

A full UK or EU/EEA driving licence is required for this position.

Successful applicants will be subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure (cost met by Azure) and will be expected to complete the Care certificate if required and any additional training requirements to support our clients.
