A formidable partnership was formed in April 2003 with J. A. Jones, to offer probably the most comprehensive Cash & Carry within the North East of England.
J. A. Jones is a leading UK wholesale nursery specialising in field grown trees ranging in sizes up to & including semi-matures, and container grown shrubs from 1 litre pots to specimen. Established in 1900, the nursery consists of five sites all in close proximity to each other, covering a total area of 128 acres.
It made perfect sense, therefore, for Azure to set up a partnership arrangement whereby Azure’s 2.5 acre Cash & Carry site is stocked from production sites covering 128 acres, supported with weekly top-up visits.
A wide range of amenity plants is on offer, consisting of:
Hanging Baskets, Bedding and Houseplants are also available from the Cash & Carry and Rolawn Turf can be purchased from the adjacent site.
A delivery service is available from the Cash & Carry: £25 for up to 10 miles from the nursery, and £50 for between 10 and 20 miles.
A member of staff is always on-hand to take you around the site.
We are open from Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Saturday 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. by appointment. Visa & Mastercard are both accepted methods of payment as well as cash, cheque or account (subject to status).
The Cash & Carry is located within the Azure Nurseries complex, in Cramlington, just North of Newcastle. It is only a few minutes drive from the A1 via the A19 turn – off.
