Welfare Benefits Service

Azure has an accredited specialist dedicated to the provision of accurate up to date advice and guidance on all welfare benefit issues.

Services include, but are not limited to;

• Identifying any benefit entitlements
• undertaking welfare benefits casework
• assistance with the completion of welfare benefit forms
• negotiation and advocacy on behalf of Azure service users and staff
• liaison with other agencies
• active signposting and referral to other specialist services
• provision of support and advice on benefit reviews and appeals

The Service is available at no charge to all Azure service users and staff on a strictly confidential basis. The service is provided in a practical way involving full consultation and requires the cooperation of the individual seeking assistance.
